Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to plan a paint job with this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, zoom, or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- Every form field has a visible label, and every icon button has a text label for screen readers.
- All tools work with a keyboard. Focus is always visible.
- Text and controls meet color-contrast guidelines in both light and dark mode.
- Results update in a live region, so screen readers announce new totals.
- The site works at 200% zoom and on small phone screens without sideways scrolling.
- Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- The "Try colors on your room" preview is visual by nature. Its color suggestions are also listed as text, and the rest of the site does not depend on it.
