Actual amounts depend on your walls, your paint, your painter, and local prices. Always check the coverage printed on your paint can and get written quotes before hiring. Safety
Homes built before 1978 may contain lead-based paint. Don't sand or scrape old paint until it has been tested, and use an EPA lead-safe certified contractor where required.
Answers by email
When you email us a question, we answer as general information, not professional advice or instructions for work that affects safety. For electrical, structural, lead paint, or other safety issues, use a licensed professional.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions or losses based on its estimates.
Color previews
The color preview is a simulation. Screens, cameras, and lighting change how colors look, so always test a real paint sample before buying.
